With all the personal information posted on social networks nowadays, it may sound out-of-date for a webmaster to try hiding this information from his visitors. It seems to me though, that people don't really think before freely giving away all this information about their social lives. So I would prefer safeguarding mine.

Having said that, I feel that people do have the right to know a few things about the creator and owner of the website they are visiting, so here's some about me.

My name is Aristos Vasiliou. I was born in Larnaca, Cyprus on the 19th of March 1979. My early years found me very interested in technology related subjects, so I stuck with it. Turns out I have a thing about technology, so why not make a living out of it.

I currently work as a Systems & Network Engineer for a multinational corporation located in Cyprus. I like what I do, so I consider it more of a hobby, rather than a pressure and stress generator, although sometimes people's stupidity does generate these feelings.

My daily duties include managing virtual environments, supporting abroad and local offices, setting up networks and servers, troubleshooting various problems and many others.

The website you are currently viewing is by no means profitable. It was created, because everyone - especially technology related people - needs a web presence. We are in a technology era and even the most clueless individuals should be able to complete basic technology tasks.
